ikasu stool |

2011

Ikasu stool was inspired by origami – the Japanese art of folding paper. The design is based on transformations of triangles. The stool consists of four elements made of 1 mm thick steel sheet. Little triangles, incised and ready to be bent, enable self-assembly of the piece of furniture. Production costs are low due to the maximum usage of the material – four stools can be made from a standard 150 × 300 cm steel sheet.
